Ever get the feeling you just want more? Have a need for speed and can't wait to get your hands on the latest version of SMF? Well then, a Simple Machines' Charter Membership is what you're looking for. We offer the following additional services for only $49.95 USD a year:
Advanced Betas
As a way to thank you for their support, you will have access to any new versions of SMF before everyone else. While we have a small team of beta testers to make sure a beta release is ready for you to play with, you'll still be within the first hundred people World-wide to have access to our new code. This also means we take your feedback seriously; we want to deliver the best software that we can!
Installation
While the process to install SMF is quite simple, there are times when everyone just wants to be up and running fast. If you don't have the time to install SMF yourself, one of our Support Specialists will be more than happy to do it for you. Just open a helpdesk request, with your hosting information, and your forum should be up and running within twenty-four hours. We only guarantee one installation per year with your membership, though are always happy to answer any questions you have about installing SMF.
Upgrades
Though most of our upgrades can be installed in a few clicks via the SMF admin center, our Support Team is more than happy to upgrade your install for you. We unfortunately cannot perform the upgrade for you if you've installed any custom mods or code hacks, though we're more than happy to answer questions about the upgrade process and point you in the right direction.
Support Services
With your Charter Membership you are given access to a closed section of our Community forums, as well as a spiffy badge under your name showing that you're a Charter Member. Here you're able to discuss the latest betas, mods which haven't been publicly released yet, as well as provide feedback about SMF. You also will gain access to our priority support Helpdesk, staffed by our Support Team. This means you will get private, one-on-one help without having to post in the public support forums. Simple Machines is fully run by volunteers, we are not able to help you with certain things such as moving your site from one server to another or directly interacting with your users. While some of our Support Specialists speak multiple languages, and we encourage SMF's international communities, we only can guarantee support in English.
If for some reason we've been unable to convince you that you need a Charter Membership, it is also a very good way to support Simple Machines, SMF, and the team of volunteers that have devoted their free time to make SMF what it is today.
