Being able to display self-hosted content would be nice.
Don't know how much interest there would be in having an audio only function available in the mod but that may be useful to some forums... my site displays a few self-hosted MP3's in a board for poems and music and others might be doing simular postings in their boards.

Yes, that's the general idea.

Currently my live site is using Aeva Media and that works well, but I already have a gallery (yours) so a simpler more compact video and audio mod might be something for me to use.

Have not tried to install both to the same forum, but... because they are both trying to do the same function it would seem a very good bet that there would be conflicts.

Well if the content plays it has to be able to be downloaded. I can rip nearly any flash player video file and find the .flv or video source using a packet sniffer.

Their is one player, for audio that does it, but I forgot which one it is, it was talked about here, maybe write a player, for the hosted content lol
