your use of the word "only" made it seem like it wasn't a big deal, I misunderstood and preceded to ask why nobody has made one, I didn't mean to argue over it.
Besides, I spent all day reading beginning to end through botched projects so I'm just skeptical over Labradoodle's project until i can at least see some physical progress.

I thought it would be worth a shot posting here in mod requests hoping more info would turn up.
I feel like the simple desgin I posted here could be a standard for an SMF Clan Ladder mod,
As an avid gamer myself, this is what I would want on SMF.
No need to over complicate some big system, thats what GameBattles.com is for.

I even tried to take a look at some code for SMF's Group and Permissions source, I thought I could start off that but its so darn overwhelming.

If i could I would just make this mod, OR, i would transfer $1k to your account so you could personally spend a week creating this for me. But life isn't that simple, and I'm broke.  :-\

Well, I wasn't being facetious when I said a month, I really did mean a month, and that's with me doing it, and I know SMF better than most...

But I think you understand why one has been requested many times and not yet created...
