Hmm.  That particular part of the old docs site is no longer terribly useful.
If you wish to discuss what kind of documentation we should have on the wiki, please post on the documentation board:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=202.0

In this case, the problem is that the documentation discusses a demo site which no longer exists.
And there is no corresponding document on the wiki linked from that topic, to be updated.
Really, it might be best to just get rid of that post altogether.  It's just obsolete, out of date, misleading, confusing.
