Californian Election

<< < (12/12)

[Unknown]:
I read just the bold text.

A few things I want to say on that issue:
  - just because we've gained 3% in businesses doesn't me everything is A-OK.  We should have a higher rate of gain.
  - entrepreneurs make descisions, like wanting to start a business in California or not.  So, yes.

I agree with him - at least on those points.  There are many points in which I *do not* agree with him.

And.... just because he is a movie star means nothing to me about how good he is as a governor.  Look at me - many have said I'm a good programmer, but how am I at tennis?  Can you assume I'm bad at tennis just because of something?

Secondly, actors make good elected officials.  It's not really that much PERSONAL responsibility, just PR.  Look at Grey Davis, near the end he signed some stuff just for PR - stuff people who voted for him amy not have wanted.  It's ALL PR... thinking it's not is living in a dream world - and I'm a realist.

<offtopic> just wanted to note "many have said I'm a good programmer" <-- [Unknown] is so modest (don't we all know it)^_^</offtopic>

I agree that we shouldnt judge Arnie as governator until he actually does some stuff... coz we dunno... maybe he'll actually do something good... maybe he does have a plan... you never know...
I wish him luck... I guess he'll need it.

Ronald Reagon was an actor, and many people believe he was one of our best presidents.
