trying to add a count down widget to the main index pg of my forum

that is indeed the case, i've isolated the offending section via the parce tool.  thank you!

so, i'd do the edits (in an ideal world) on my test forum web site?

funny thing about that;
I had a forum on an old domain that i had cloned to a new domain. i decided to get the old forum running to use as my test but i needed to do some renaming. I installed the tool repair_settings.php to the old forum.  somehow when i made a change to the old forum it effected my new forum.  ???  just a word of caution to the next person...<grin>

regardless; that and a sickness have kept me away from the project- I intend to get back to it later on this week.
