Customizing SMF > Mod Requests

Simple "Like Post" mod.

I'd like to see a mod that allowed you to "Like" a post like on facebook but it doesn't display who liked it, just the number of people who liked it. This should be available to all posts, not just the first post in a topic.

The problem is that the current mods are very complex with a whole bunch of features I have no interest in and require you to pay for them, even the thank you mods are over complicated for what I need, a basic Like Post mod.

Welcome to SMF, non of the mods listed here on the modsite requires you to paid anything.

There are a lot of mods out there, have you tried any or all of them?

There even some topics on the tips & tricks board, those are very simple ways to get a facebook like button if you aren't interested on a heavy mod.

BTW, the displaying of the number of people who actually liked a page depends entirely on facebook, no mod can control that part

Sorry just to clarify I'm not looking for facebook integration, I'm looking for a simple "Like" or "Thank You" mod for posts. The Thank-O-Matic mod comes closest but it comes with a bunch of extras I don't want, like linking the number of thanks given and received to the users which displays on a new page and the profiles, etc. I'm somewhat of a minimalist so I'm just looking for the bare-bones of a mod that allows you to like a post which then displays how many people have liked it.
