Total number of topics wrong when moving topics (SMF 2)

I created a child forum and moved some posts from the parent forum there using the quick moderation.
After moving a bunch of forums, the topic count was displayed correctly for the child forum, but when going back to the forum index, the topic count for the parent board was about twice as high as it should be. Of course I could fix this using the maintenace so the numbers are correct again now, but that smells like a bug to me.

Looks like this has been fixed in the meantime -  at least a short test indicated that the parent forum's post count was not changed after the move.
