New Install - Features and Options Redirects to home page

Hello,

I installed SMF 2.0.2 now, using webinstall.php on my subdomain - forums.example.com

No Mod installed. It's a fresh install.

1. Admin > Features and options redirects to the forum home page.
2. There are immediately 2 registered users  :o when I viewed the site.

Why is this happening ? Thank you.

Do you have friendly url enabled but no mod_rewrite enabled ?
It may also happen if you have wrong path settings.

Regarding registrations, those are probably bots, use inbuilt QnA smf

Thanks for the reply Ricky. But Where do I enable friendly url and mod_rewrite ?
My board is a new install with nothing touched.

The redirection also occurs here: Forums » Administration Center » Permissions » General Permissions » Settings

Look for Search engine friendly URLs

Yeah, that's got to be hard since the user can't access "Features and Options", which is what this topic is about.
