Change advanced email settings?

Is there a way to change how many emails smf will send out in a certain time frame?  My server doesn't allow me to email all members at once. Is there I can only send XX amount of emails once every hour?

Not in 1.1.x, but there is in 2.0.

If you need that capability, you might consider upgrading.  Otherwise you can possibly break the list of members up into manageable increments.  Of course that could become labor intensive depending on the number of members.  Another option might be to change host.
