How to show all images uploaded via FTP in an image folder ?

Hi - I have an image directories with a several sub directories which I upload pictures into  ie ..

After I have done some work I use FTP to upload photos under a specific directory.

What I am looking for in some code/modificiaton/etc which when user can drill down through the directory structure and see the images.  The code would be able to build on-the-fly.  Where a directory exists - it would be good to see a folder icon.  It would be even better if the folder could have some sort of image on it (a bit like windows does).  I would like the images to be shown within the current theme I am using also.

Any help / ref to link where this code may exist would be appreciated.


I have been searching and trying different mods and I must say the  "Highslide 4 SMF Modification" rocks - this worked beautifully for images uploaded via the image upload.

PS. for image upload - what is this best mod for multiple image uploads at one time ?
