public_html disappeared

I just was searching my forum when my public_html got deleted somehow and I didn't do anything wtf happend??? please help

No, nobody can explain what happened with YOUR files. try looking up Apache log/error log to see what happened, to restore the files you might want to find your backup (if you have any). Try contacting your host and ask if they keep backups.

And this is just why backups are so important; computers are untrustable when it comes to it :P

This is embarrassing, but I accidently putted public_html to /home/mail/ :P somehow I moved it from home directory to mail directory :P my bad

Good to hear :) Now no more excuses for doing regular backups.
