Has anyone thought of making a forum music player that plays a selected set of music songs or a radio station,i was just wondering,i think it would be a great addon

There are quite a few flash mp3 players available on the internet which can be integrated with SMF fairly easily.

Personally I find it pretty annoying when I go to a site and music starts playing, especially as loading a new page will break it and make it start over.

Well, there's this one: http://www.boutell.com/xspf/ which supports an auto-resume feature that plays on even if you change and load a new page. (although I could never put it working - possibly because of hosting restrictions)

It can still cause problems. I often open multiple topics in tabs from the message index which would mean I'd probably have about five music players trying to play at once :P

If you get the simple portal mod you can embed it in a custom html block.
