forum is not allowing posts at all - HELP

<< < (3/5) > >>

tngold:
Hi,
I will take a look at the db for that,,  but the odd thing is that it all worked, then stopped for all of us that already used the old forum...

I will look for the validation in the database and see if I can find it.

Oh,,  and it isn't supposed to be making you look at the capchia if your a member...  only for signing up.  Argh..

I thought for a moment...  the user test that I created did not get verified...  yet can post.

Must be something else with the member group or profile.

Perhaps it took away the old members groups, but as a administrator it says I have all permissions and can't post a thing either, so again,, makes no sense there.

Colin:
Hmmm, let us know what you find.

tngold:
looks like both myself and the test account both show the same under the is_activated table.  1

Looking at the only difference I can I can pick up on shows the themes for test is 0 while mine is 3.
The id_post_group  is 4 for the test user and 7 for me.  I did not touch this, as I did not know what it is.

I changed my theme setting to 3 to test now.
The change made no difference.  I could still not post and got the same error.

Colin:
Change your post group to 4 in the database and see if that works. What I am thinking is the post group ID's were not the same when you migrated the forum.
