Through ISP's? what do you mean? SPAM gets sent to you e-mail address... any e-mail address these stupid companies can get a hold of :'(

What I am saying is that the email gets sent from an email application, through the PC, up the phone line to an ISP and then out on to the internet, to your incoming mail server, through your ISP, down your phone line, into your PC and clogs up yours email application.
If an ISP was to sit there and see a Spammer sending a million and one spams one after the other then why wouldn't that get acted upon by the ISP - aren't they connecting the spammer to the internet ? ? ?
Or do Spammers magically connect on to the internet by a method I haven't come across yet ?

I have SpamAssasin installed by my host, and it does a VERY good job of keeping away spam :) I have to recommend it

I have opened a MSN address, just to see if I get spam:

I have NEVER used it, never given away to some1, you will find it nowhere on the internet, ... BUT: I get a lot of spam!! :-\

What they'll do is wildcard... basically, send spam to yournick******@hotmail.com....
