poll doesn't show (need help)

Floyds:
Can someone tell me how to get the resentpoll to be shown on a frontpage.

I can't get it working... here a snip of the code...

require_once('/home/alliedassault.nl/html/yabbse/SSI.php');

$array = ssi_recentPoll( 'array');

foreach ($array as $ssi_recentPoll)

echo ' $ssi_recentPoll()';

    ?>
and this "<?php ssi_recentPoll(); ?>" doens't work also, not even when I include the ssi in the top of a page
