Calendar holidays are showing in duplicate

(1/1)

Beaman:
I searched for the subject in question and couldn't find anything, also I've looked at several of the other member's boards and I haven't witnessed the same issue.

On the calendar, for instance today it's showing 'April Fools, April Fools', all the holidays are showing in duplicate form. I'm not too sure how to remedy this, any ideas?

Problem Solved

[Unknown]:
Sounds like your table has duplicate entries.

I recommend you download the install package, and recreate the calendar_holidays table from the one in smf_1-0.sql.

Beaman:
Okay, I'll do that. Thank you.

* I must be dumb, now I have three entries. I think I installed another table by mistake. :'(

[Unknown]:
No, no, not dumb... it could happen to anyone, I've done similar. I recommend you use phpMyAdmin to entirely DROP the table, or EMPTY the table, and then put those entries back in.

Beaman:
Okay, I don't feel as bad then. lol

I emptied all the tables and started over. I thought I should start from scratch because I had duplicate smilies as well, but I have a handle on SMF now and feel more comfortable with phpMyAdmin. Everything is okay now and I've learned a lot. Thanks for your time and insight, very much appreciated!!
