Newbie question ...

(1/1)

Sammy383:
My first attempt at installing SM ...

I do not want to allow guests to read the topics. Everyone must register first and everyone must confirm their email address.

The login area has two boxes: 1) Warning!  2) Login      my question is about box #1. Currently the text is black with the exception of the phrase "register an account' which is in light blue - I presume because I force everyone to use the Core theme. I wish to change the color from light blue to red for clarity. I would like it to look like this:

#1- Warning!

I looked inside a few of the .php files and .css files to see if I could find the phrase "register an account" but coud not.

Suggestions?

Old Fossil:
Hi Sammy welcome.

If you look through the mods section there is a mod named View Only Boards which may help.

Chas Large:
Admin > Configuration > Features and Options > General

Uncheck the box "Allow guests to browse the forum "

Then no guests can browse any part of the forum. Even if someone sends a link to a board/topic to a non-member that person will get a warning that they need to register before the can view the topic/post.
