Does SMF pay Google for site indexing

Actually I have been watching this with kin interest how google search bot instantly ping or index this topic on this site few seconds the submit button is hit. Try search your topic using " entire search" function here 10seconds later and you will get my point.
Whereas in my forum, it is more 72 hour before google crawl/index new topics. Is this a trick, special agreement with google or paid service? Google bot keep hitting the index of my site instead of topics. What do you think?

I can publish something in my wp blog and google has it listed in their search results almost as soon as I click update.
I think they may look at history, how often you post or something like that.

No, there is no payment for faster indexing.
Google tends to index based on several factors. As many of the pages on this site have a high PageRank and as the site has a lot of traffic and updates, Google tends to do deeper indexing faster. If your site is smaller, less active, has less incoming links to its pages, and/or returns results slower then you'll be indexed slower and more shallow.
If your site tends to also return errors, that can discourage crawl rate as well, so having an unreliable host or using oversold hosting tends to have a detrimental effect on crawling.
Keep in mind that too much activity can also be an issue. It has been speculated that Google keeps some record of an activity average for domains and if you go too far from the average suddenly, it trusts you less. Doing a complete redesign with new HTML, changing forum software, and other activities can act as a "big change" that could trigger that flag. As your site settles down into a more routine rate of change, crawling should return to at least as it was before.

Hmm these are great points, I have learnt something I will definitely act upon. Thanks
