bug or install error? Undefined index: theme_template_error

I don't know if this is a bug or an error with my install, but this happened twice, on two separate servers, using two separate browsers (mozilla and latest ie). files were uploaded with smartftp. is not a problem the database or anything as its our own paid space and we've previously run yabbse and have yabb.

both installs were fine (using smf_1-0-beta4p_install.zip) and the instructions for installation given on this site were followed to a T. permissions were given, etc. during installation there were no errors, all info given was correct (database pass and such). both installs got to the point where you have the screen saying the board is installed here and go there and login as admin and dont forget to delete your install.php file, etc.

but clicking on the link to go to the board, in both cases, brings this result:

--- Quote ---Notice: Undefined index: theme_template_error in /home/broken/public_html/Forum/Sources/Load.php on line 813
--- End quote ---

curious if its a bug or not and if its known. have not been able to find anything directly related, but please forgive me if its known already.

Can you give a link?

Moving to support because this is certainly not a bug, (everyone else can install it, no?) nor a bug in the site :P.  I'm thinking it's the infamous SmartFTP issue.

Look at the following links:

http://slapboards.slackerhosting.com/smf/Themes (working)
http://slapboards.slackerhosting.com/smf/Themes/default (404)
http://slapboards.slackerhosting.com/smf/Themes/classic (working)

You have not uploaded all of the files.

Notice: Undefined index: theme_template_error in /var/www/web17/html/board/Sources/Load.php on line 813

I've got the same problem,
but it is only there when using yabbse_ as prefix and if I use smf_ (I have both because I want to move my smf from one server to another)

btw:
PHP Safemode is ON
