I would convert my Kunena forum to phpBB how can help?
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:02:19 PM »
since a few days, I´m trying to import the kunena users and posts to my new phpBB forum.
I´m not a professional.
I would be very happy, if someone can help me, and explain me how I can do this.

I found this :To use these converters simply upload the contents of the archive to your SMF directory and execute convert.php. this the files.
But I dont understand, I don´t speak english very good.
It is a joomla site (2.5). I don´t have an SMF directory. I create one, and put convert.php in the browser, so it looks like this:
hxxp:www.mysite.de/convert.php [nonactive]
It doesn´t works

How can help?

Best Regards

JJ

That is because it is for forums being moved TO smf FROM phpbb.

By phpbb support board I meant http://www.phpbb.com/

Hi,
Look, I mean this herehttp://download.simplemachines.org/?converters;software=kunena
that converter is from Kunena to SMF 2-0, not from Kunena to phpBB  ;)
Only buddies are allowed to send me a PM and my buddy list is pretty small ;)

But why you want to convert to phpBB, other than that , generally people move from phpBB to SMF as they find SMF more promising.. !!
Is that you find SMF not helpful or good ?

In simple words as already fellow members told you, you are asking at wrong place.
