php script for smf post
wolf345:
Hi, i want to create a php script that after you fill the fields it will no generate the code for your view, but it will actually post it in the appropriate board, i know that it's possible, i just have no idea how to make that, or is there anything like this prepared for public use? thanks in advance
Arantor:
If you want users to fill in a form and for it to make a post, try the Custom Forms mod, you can find that by going to the Customize link at the very top of the page here and have a look in Modifications.

unfortunately thats not something im looking for, let me try to put it this way. There 10 boards, in of them where I want to use php post script, instead of "New Topic" button there will be "Post report" and link to that will take me to: hxxp:somewebsite.com/report.php [nonactive] and that script will contain some forms, dropdown list etc, after you fill all of those, you do "Post" and the php script will generate bbcode and will post the whole thing into that section assigned to the script. Thanks in advance.
Arantor:
The custom forms mod does EXACTLY THAT.

Like Arantor said, this mod is what you are looking for.
