CGI Error ? ! ? !

(1/2) > >>

Snuffy:
I used the Upgrade to upgrade my YaBB-SE and set the upgrade.php with all 4 check boxes checked before starting.

Did not get any errors that I saw from the upgrade.php report when it was done.

but now I get this error for the forum :

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Any suggestions ?

Most likely, it's not chmod'd properly.  If chmod'ing it to 777 does not help.. I recommend the following:

1. Ask your host how to solve the problem, or consult their knowledge base.
2. Try a simple phpinfo.php script and see if it can execute.
3. Get a different host that runs PHP under ISAPI (not CGI) mode since this is more efficient anyway.

But I am on a windows server unknown, I understand that SMF will run on a windows base server, am I wrong here?

Snuffy:
Also this part:

The headers it did return are:

Ther are none shown . . . .

Yes, I run it on Windows 2003 Server on more than once server.  I've made a guide on how to set up a server on windows - three ways in fact - and all work perfectly and in ISAPI mode.

It may still be a permissions issue, or a PHP configuration issue.
