Forum in Maintenance Mode Over Night

Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me with a strange issue. My forum has been active and just fine for the past few weeks. This morning when I open it, it's in maintenance mode. I have not done anything at all in the admin panel or with the code in the past few days, so I didn't do it.

I'm assuming it's maybe been hacked? But I can't even access the admin panel. I tried accessing by pointing my browser to index.php?action=admin with no luck... it just goes to the same "maintenance mode" screen.

If ANYONE could help it would be greatly appreciated!

use ftp and edit your settings.php altering this:

Perfect! Thanks. I wonder why it went into maintenance mode without me setting it?

I cannot say for sure, maybe it was a scheduled task that put the forum into maintenance mode?
