SMF Emails Only Contain Text

(1/3) > >>

rmacq:
I have searched everywhere for an answer to this problem and I just can't figure it out.  Whenever a system generated email is sent out it seems none of the scripting is included.  For instance, this is what I get for the body of a reminder email:

USERNAME,

Please use the link below to activate your account:

Regards,
The 21 Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps Team.

This happens with registration emails, approvals, rejections, all of them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am going crazy trying to figure it out.

Colin:
What mods do you have installed? Have you made any hard coded changes?

Arantor:
There's no scripting involved; the link text is supplied normally and it's up to the email client to make it a link (or not)

Are you sure your email client isn't removing the links?

Colin:
LOL  -- On first glance I thought the problem was that all the email bodies were static and using the username "Username". Yikes  ::)

The only mod I have installed is Admin Toolbox
