[NEW] Moderation Center

<< < (3/5) > >>

SleePy:
This sounds like a sentence that just ended for no reason.

--- Quote ---SMF 2.0 introduces the new moderation center.
--- End quote ---

I want to say something about the SM Team introducing it, but it starts to sound like something you would find on wikipedia and not our manual.

B:
Yeah, I agree it could use some work. :) Thanks for the input, SleePy.

Replacing it with

--- Quote ---The SM team is proud to present one of the many features in SMF 2.0, the moderation center.
--- End quote ---

To me doesn't sound like something to be in the online manual, however because this is the intruduction to the moderation center doc I guess it makes sense.

--- Quote ---
* Post Moderation - Any posts awaiting to be approved before publicly viewable.
--- End quote ---

--- Quote ---
* Post Moderation - New topics, replys or attachments awaiting approval before publicly viewable. This requires post moderation to be enabled via Admin > Core Features
--- End quote ---

Sorry I haven't been active, grade 12, friends, work and my own project are really cutting into doc time.

* Acans wishs he could still stay up to 4am on school nights :'(

B:

--- Quote ---The SM team is proud to present one of the many features in SMF 2.0, the moderation center.
--- End quote ---

How about just "Among its many new features, SMF 2.0 introduces the moderation center?" I think that'll work.

--- Quote ---
* Post Moderation - New topics, replys or attachments awaiting approval before publicly viewable. This requires post moderation to be enabled via Admin > Core Features
--- End quote ---

The first part of the explanation still isn't a complete sentence. :) How about this?

--- Quote ---
* Moderator Notes - Administrators and moderators may leave messages for each other in this Notepad-like feature.
* Post Moderation - If post moderation is enabled, new topics, replies, and attachments that are awaiting approval before being viewable will be displayed here. Post moderation may be enabled by visiting Admin > Core Features.
--- End quote ---

No need to apologize. :) We all have real-life activities that sometimes get in the way of SMF stuff.

That does sound better, thanks B.
