Calendar events linked to default language?

<< < (5/6) > >>

Kindred:
actually, it had nothing to do with phpmyadmin...   it was indeed just a text/list file

Date of holiday (use year 00 if repeating every year on the same date), name of holiday

the import was through a screen in the SMF admin

Arantor:
I never said it did involve phpMyAdmin. I'm giving you that as an example baseline of user who will have trouble with something you perceive as simple. Imagine a user who doesn't know where that is, and the level of instruction you would have to give them. It's much the same level of leading around in absolutely simple terms.

(This is an interesting role reversal, me standing up for users for a change.)

emanuele:
lol

Arantor is becoming old. :P

AngelinaBelle:
Arantor has made a profound study of user interface in the last 2 years.

Arantor:
Old, me, hahahahahahahahahaha

You're too kind :)

Actually it's just my usual cynicism, and taking into account that most users are not programmers nor sysadmins, and as a result will not be able to easily do such things.

Simple test: if you ask a relative who is not a programmer to do it, can they do it?
