My forum members cannot log-in after trying to upgrade from 1.1.12 to 1.1.16

I require help fast...

Within my admin area I was informed to upgrade my forum to the latest version.

However I was only able to upgrade from 1.1.12 to 1.1.13. After that the upgrade button disappeared within my admin area. This is when the problems for members began. Alot of my members have not been able to log-in to my forum.

From what I can tell my smf package, sources and language files are out of date. Some files within those areas are missing it looks like as I can see "??". Please see the screen shots I have attached.

How can I fix this problem and upgrade to the latest version?

Please tell me you backed-up, first...

Don't worry about the version numbers. After all, when SMF gets updated, it doesn't update every single file.

Either way, this is what I'd do, if I was in this position.

I'd backup, oddly enough. ;)

Then, I'd get this:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/downloads/smf_patch_1.0.22_1.1.16.tar.gz

and install it via Package Manager.

Failing that, you could get this:

http://download.simplemachines.org/index.php?thanks;filename=smf_1-1-16_upgrade.zip

If you dearchive it on your HD and upload everything to your site, overwriting what's there, now, then point your browser to your forum URL and Upgrade.php, you'll have an upgraded to v1.1.16 forum, with posts, members, etc. intact. But, that will, almost certainly, screw your mods, I'm afraid. (Maybe some custom themes, too)
