What file holds the content of the header, I need to remove the <title></title>

What file holds the content of the header, I need to remove the <title></title> tags.

I have installed the Global Headers and Footers mod and added my site title to the Global Head Content: but it places this info below the built in header <title></title>.
I need to delete the title tags in the forum header so there is no duplicate title tags and the one I use in the Global Headers and Footers mod will display.

Any help would be appreciated!
