I would love to see it someday too.

In a way I think he was a selfish person for not sharing his knowledge with others.

I agree. There are those that claim he had "otherworldly" or alien help, and that he used alien technology to build it. I think he was just a very ingenious individual who was stubborn and refused to tell anyone myself.  The alien conspiracy folks are all over Florida though.

I never heard of it, and I've been to Miami a few times... I'll be sure to check it out next time though.
