Random slowness in SMF's OB callback & performance questions

<< < (2/2)

nend:
Problem found, it was caused by SA Twitter Integration.

May have to look to the API as to why it is slowing it down. However I set the function just to return the buffer if the action isn't register or login related since that is the only time I believe this mod is used.

So my login and register page is still going to be slow. Will keep you updated as to why it is running the way it is.

Let me know what you figure out since i maintain that mod as well.

Just a quick glance it looks to be a auth call in the API causing the slow down. The script has to wait on Twitters servers to respond. I don't know though if this is required in this part of the script though. I know it is required on the actual login portion. Will look into it more later on.  ;)

*edit, I am marking as solved. When I figure out how to correct the problem I will post the solution in the SA Facebook Integration topic. Thanks everyone for their help. :D
