Want to move on fresh SMF 2.0.2 from 1.1.16 - Please Help!

 Hi Dear Experts!

Currently I am running SMF 1.1.16 with lot of MODs installed with normal and manual installation process; even most of them are not showing in Installed Packages’ list. Therefore it’s very difficult/ impossible to uninstall and clean my current forum to use any upgrade package.
 
I want to use SMF 2.0.2 but I am afraid of is it might create some problem. So what…
 
If I install a fresh & clean SMF 2.0.2 with (or without) required MODs (that have I already using for SMF 1.1.16) and then upload and attach my old database file of SMF 1.1.16 with this fresh SMF 2.0.2 using repair_settings.php tool 
Specially I want to save my all data related to TinnyPortal (and others’ too if possible not most important)
 
Please tell me any safe way to upgrade my forum with best of your knowledge and experience

Doing what you posted above would result in the DB not being upgraded, but the files being upgraded.

Your best bet would be to backup your files and database.  Once that is done, use the Large upgrade package to upgrade your forum and database.  If you run into problems that we can't help you get through, you can easily restore your previous install.

Keep in mind you will need to install any modifications or customizations manually after the upgrade.  A heavily customized forum is tough to upgrade if you haven't kept good records of what you changed.

Is there is any possibility to import / convert only members profile (ID,Password e.g.) and Posts related database records from my current version of SMF for fresh installation of 2.0.2?
