Pretty URL is not generating 404 error causing duplicate contents

Hello Everyone,

I found a strange problem with "Pretty URL" mod. The problem is, its not generating any 404 error code/page while putting bogus url along with domain name.

Like : www.yourdomain.com/ [nofollow]dkjhsdfkhsdfkhsdfkslhdfslkdhfsdlkhfsldkfh - still .htaccess file is bringing up the index page.

Any idea, how to code the .htaccess file so that any invalid/bogus URL comes with 404 error page.

Looks like a bug so it basically thinks any url is valid correct?

Yes, which means it doesn't filter while sending the query.

how to stop bogus url through htaccess script ?????

It will be a while no easy way to do it since the system rewrites actions/topics and everything....Will take a while to think of something.
