Internet Explorer Auto Scrolls/Jumps When Viewing Topic

It's just the regular thread links. I can link on a forum, and then click on a thread link - NOT the new indicator - and the thread loads and then immediately jumps down to the bottom of the thread.

I can use the same browser to visit both my forum, where the issue happens, and then I come here to the SMF forum, and that issue does not happen, so I'm assuming it's a config thing on my end.

Does this happen if you use any other browser besides IE?  Are you using a custom theme or the default?  If using a custom theme does it do the same thing?

It just happens in IE. I've tested in IE and Firefox, both XP and Windows 7. I'm not using a custom theme, just the default.

Its possible you need an updated mouse driver. Sounds daft but I have a logitech mx1000 does the same if it runs on generic drivers and not the logitech ones. The new one I got the performance mx doesnt do it at all on any driver.

I'm still not quite sure which links you are clicking.  Can you be a bit more specific or give me an example of a link that does this?  If guest can see your forum, you might want to just post a link to to it and then describe what link we should click to see what is happening.
