Customizing SMF > Portals, Bridges, and Integrations

Yep, it's still being requested - Aweber and SMF integration. Anyone solve this?

I was searching around to see if there was any way to integrate aweber with SMF so that users could be registered to both the forum and the aweber mailing list upon registration with my SMF forum, but it seems this problem still hasn't been solved yet.

Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

Perhaps something similar to the aweber wordpress plugin that allows users who are commenting on a blog post to click a check box to subscribe to the list upon submitting their comment?

It could be done using there PHP API library but it's taking the time to sit down and figure it out, implement it and test it. Have you tried asking in the Help Wanted (not for support) board, there might be someone willing to develop this as a mod for you for free but due to the amount of work involved they may try and charge for it.
