Problem for user with message box

Hi one of the other co owners in my group is having a problem with her message box when she signs in sometime she will have the above things to change her message ei fonts, center  smilies etc and sometimes it is not there  not sure what is going on as no one else seems to have this problem  she uses IE8 if that helps  just looking to see if there is a solution please and thank you

well for a start, ask her to try FireFox or Chrome and see if the problem goes away, that way you can isolate the browser from the equation. If it still gives problems then it may be her network or firewall blocking some part of the site, probably a script.

If the problem appears to only be with IE then it may be a pop-up blocker or some other add-on blocking scripts from your site.

Is she using the default theme or another forum supplied theme? If the latter, ask her to change to the default theme and see if that fixes the problem, it could be that a cached file is not being rendered correctly. Ask her to clear the cache.
