Spanish Language Pack?

Hello,

I have installed and am testing SMF 2. I have installed the language pack for Brazil and am starting to take a look at that.

Is there a pack for Spanish or one in progress? Can the interface strings be downloaded and translated? The site is at www.globalparks.org/exchange [nofollow].

Currently SMF support Spanish. You can download all the language packs supported by SMF on this page.

Thanks for your reply, but there are no Spanish language packs for the new beta version - 2.0. There are many others however.

The Spanish language packs on the page you referred me to are for version 1.5.

Most language packs are not availiable for SMF 2 Beta, because they haven't been upgraded yet. Its likely that you won't be able to get many completed language packs for SMF 2 Beta, before several newer versions have been released, as the software is still changing.

Ok, thanks. I like the software, using http compression gets the page size down to around 40kb which is great for international users.
