Email Settings: Check for new messages?

In my email settings I have "Check for new messages" set to, every minute.

If I set it for anything longer then a minute I feel that I maybe missing something important that can't wait so I end up manually checking for new messages, lol...

I'm a sick puppy. :P

I am sort of that way have so many email accounts.
It is best to check not so often otherwise you spend most of your time just checking email instead of getting work done.

I used to have several emails too. I got rid of most of them but like 3. And now they all forward to my gmail address anyway. Which means my chrome browser notifies me pretty much instantly when I get a new email, so I don't ever have to do the checking. If I'm not at the computer my droid phone does just as well at notifying me.
