One more Question... Moving Hosting

With such sick fast and awesome replies, I've got 1 more ;).

I am currently hosting my site on a less-than-awesome hosting website.

We are able to move the domain in 1 month, but I have decided to start setting up this forum now.  Both hosts meet the reqs.

So my question is...will I have trouble moving everything to the new host? (same domain, etc)

Will anything break during a migration of all the files/folders?



I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to this stuff, so I'd like to know what I might run into!

Who is to say what troubles you can encounter with a less than awesome host.

Maybe you should start right with a good host?

I know what you mean.  I should clarify:  the latency is poor, but the service and everything else is fine.

So for many, it's awesome - just doesn't meet what I require.

So for the sake of argument, lets say both hosts are fine :D.

Looking:
If you have Cpanel you can do a transfer with no problems then - this may be of help to you: repair settings. Put it in your root of your new host to make sure it is setup well.
