Quick-edit cannot properly use alt+s?

With Opera you can do shift+esc to obtain the list of available accesskeys and the press the corresponding letter.
The result is the one described by the OP.

Two the solutions I see:
1) change the accesskey for the "quick modify" (e.g. to "m"odify)
2) unset by js the accesskeys of the quick reply.
