okay, so i still some mods and they work,,, and some do not .. so im wondering what the issue may be.. I set the permissions to 777 on everything.. as well as I installed the social network Mod and only I can use it no one else :s i deleted it but its not gone from my icons.. and when i view source i can see it... I then go to my php file and can't find it.. Any help would be appreciated  thanks.

Wondering if the mods you are installing require adding permissions to use them? I am leaning towards that as being the issue. Have a look at the permissions for each group for your site. I bet they just haven't been enabled. :)

hmmm, i'll have to give that a shot, i've added all the permissions already through ftp and my server i'll try another way. Can I change permissions my admin control.. i'll go have a look.

mashby:
Permissions aren't set via FTP, they are set in the Admin area of SMF itself. :)

hey, thanks again for the reply.. I tried setting them in the admin area.. however still no luck.. when people visit this is the message of error that they get

2: getimagesize(/home/content/19/9524419/html/Themes/dark/images/FBSlideLikeBox/default.png) [<a href='function.getimagesize'>function.getimagesize</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
?action=profile;area=tracking;sa=ip;u=1;searchip=67.71.94.22

plus others.. but the directory is there and intact. I'll keep trying again, thanks for your help.. oh one more thing.. I tried taking out the Social network link from my site, near my log in and log out , but cannot find it in my index.php
