Not at all.

It adds your forums name ahead of the page title, as the prefix. For instance "Admin" (At the Admin action) would be turned into "My Community - Admin"

Does this explanation help?

What about using portals?    Will it show   "my community- my community- my page title"?

Update:

I tested this with SimplePortal, and it in fact does double the forum name for only the homepage of the forum (the portal homepage) everything else is fine.

I may add portal compatibility later.

Thanks for pointing this out,

Updated to v1.1!

SMF 2.0 RC3 is now compatible.
I may add a couple edits later to deal with portal homepages.

This mod is not compatible with SMF 1.1.10 and will not be ported back.
(Manual install should work. But I will not support any problems with v1.1.10 that may arise.)

You should update to v1.1.11 for security patches, anyways.

I used to put the forum name after the title, but this mod puts it in front, I wonder how google likes that.. will it improve SEO?  I am testing it on one of my sites, will report back.

I'd appreciate the feedback - petecheng!

I used to put my forum name before the page title  (which was when I wrote this mod), now I prefer the page title first then forum name. I'll probably do a re-write shortly.

Thanks for this, but in boards instead of showing "Board Name - Forum Name" or "Forum Name - Board Name" it just shows the same as the Board Index - namely "Home - Forum Name" or "Forum Name - Home".
