For examle that would link to a website, not a forum.

Any plans for this?

It would also be very useful to be able to put a special icon just for that board were the is, like a globe saying that it is linking to a site.

This is actually just a basic html thing that you'd add in. Not everyone would want to link to their site (like for example this website has the forum nested into the site, hence no need to link to it.)

If you mean make it so clicking on a board would send you to, for example, www.google.com, or another board...

I plan to remake my Redirection Boards mod for SMF ;).

But... for now, I'm thinking it's a mod.
