Need help with topic start and reply view
boo2:
Smf 2.0.2
Default theme ( curve )
Simple portal.
Hoping someone can help me sort this out.
I have a few problems trying to get the start new topic and reply views to look right and line up.
Starting with the bbcode buttons.
Ok I have unchecked several of the bbcode buttons, all from the top row, so now the only thing in the top row is a divider/separator gif, I renamed them in the images bbc folder but it shows a horrid box around where the separator would have been and the rest of the available bbc buttons are still stuck on the second row taking up valuable space.
I'd like the available buttons to drop back to the first row and give me that space back and find out where to remove those dividers in the code.
Ive searched every file I could think of but found nothing so far.
Attaching a pic of what it looks like at this point, you'll see how messy it looks with so many bbc buttons removed.
2. I can't find out where you change that entire grey background with the rounded corners. I want the body to be windowbg2 color which is what my portal blocks use as background color that I changed to a very pale green, but no matter what I change in css it doesn't change the corners.
3. The message icon drop down, would like to make that less conspicuous and taking up less space and had some sort of style other than what my browser does to it.
4. I also can't find the darn space at the top of the topic start/reply table and header. It's not lining up with my portal blocks. I got it to in the category view but can't find it for here.

I don't have much time right now (and sorry you've had to wait all this time for a response) but have a ganders in Themes\default\GenericControls.template.php and look for "divider.gif"
K@:
Also, check with other browsers, in case this is browser-specific.

Not sure what you mean by that? Which part of my post are you referring to? And what do you mean exactly by browser specific?
