I already answered basically everything you asked in my reply to writeto.... you, as a group, are not listening to the things I am saying, thus it is more than safe to assume that you, as a group, are not listening to me.  I hate repeating myself, and if you are going to make me, it's only going to annoy me - which is not where I want any topic to go.

Unfortunately I have to disagree with you on some very basic notions. Obviously a theory is nothing more then a consensus of what a set of distinct test results/experiments/mathematics indicates to a large set of educated individuals. In this manner I agree that this aspect of science is nothing more then educated conjecture.
Before I delve further let me say this : I have been known to say that I do not trust science no matter how "proven" it is. However, there are some basics/core ideas of science that you must accept as true. For instance I highly doubt it DNA will end up being completely discreditted. I can say this knowing that it has been used in blind experiments and on 100's if not millions of case studies in which 99.9% were conclusive and accurate (to our knowledge). The .1% is generally accreditted to human error. There are many other scientific "rules" and laws that are grounded.
The one subject that I will completely agree with you on is physics. I am a physics nut. I love physics. Even accounting for all the wonderful things that physics principles and laws have created it is somehow fundamentally flawed. The same can be said for statistics, most forms of higher mathematics and many other small sectors of science.
I can not make the generalization that you do though. I mean granted people believed (until very recently) that the earth was the center of the universe, that the world was not rotating and millions of misconceptions. This is because of the idea in science that it is ok to believe something until it is disproven. Well obviously this has to be the case as very very very very very very very very little can be 100% proven (if anything).
I don't know where this is going I just am sitting in the airport on my laptop waiting for my girlfriend and thought it was ok to jump in again.

For all you know your are living in the matrix and everything is sureal. Even fact arent facts. If realy think deeply you can't explain why we are here or not. With science we are trying to explain the world... but that is something that will never happen. It as an ongoing quest for the big "why?" question that cannot be anwserd. Everything you belief in could not be true/real. "Why?" because we just are.
