Notification Email Separation

Thank you for the proposal, roleplaycity. We're looking at improving the notifications panel indeed.

I'm not entirely sure I understand correctly, how your wish works... To be notified about a topic, without it being in unread replies, sure, I understand, and you can do that... The problem is then, that you'd have to receive email notification when you subscribe?

*shrug* Just trying to suggest something that you can use *now* rather than wait however many months it is before it does get implemented and deployed (because in any practical sense, even if it is implemented *now*, *today* in SMF, it's going to be months before 2.1 is at production readiness)
