lowdown is this...

if a topic is modified right after posting (and there are no replies) then if its modified with a configurable time frame (like 10 mins?) then it doesnt show as modified.


ps.. vbulletin does this

haha.. sometimes i never notice a mistake until after...

I would also like to endorse this suggestion, there's a lot of times I do go back in and edit it, and if I'm welcoming someone (at least 5-30 times a month), and I make a mistake, it doesn't look very professional to see the edit line in there on someone's welcome message.

EDIT:  As you can see, I re-read this in less than a minute and fixed it, yet I still have the lovely edit message below.  :/

I just go in the database and clear the modified time out of the post ;)

edit: or... make a new post under it and delete the one above :)
