i just did this and the problem still remain thesame and i even had to overwrite the sources folder but the same error is still there or am i doing something wrong? Help pls

MrPhil:
If you're getting error messages with eval in them, the first thing to do is go to the SMF controls and disable eval. Then you will get the true file and line number where the problem is occurring.

A print_r() call is giving the error? That's odd. There is only one print_r call in SMF, and that's in ssi_examples.php and it's commented out. When you find the correct file and line number, check your file to see if a hacker has put in code. A shortcut is to look at the "last modified" time/date on all your files, and examine carefully all those that seem more recent that your last mod install or other code edit.

Unfortunately, the site will not load at all, only that error message displays at the top of the page. I would check your .htaccess files and settings.php for any hacker input code that should not be there.

ok thx man ,do i need to provide any additional info or file to assist u?

busterone:
What I meant was for you to check your ,htaccess files and settings.php, also look for any other non smf files that have been added recently that should not be there.
