I only get logged in when I miss out the WWW

When visiting my own website at www.chevetteownersgroup.co.uk I'm not logged in on the simple portal front page but if I click on 'forum' in the menu or visit the site minus the www then I'm logged in. Any ideas?  :-\

The cookie is normally only set on the domain - and not include the www subdomain.

You can make it do so by going to Admin > Configuration > Server Settings > Cookies and Sessions and ticking 'Use subdomain independent cookies', save, log out, log in.

Thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestion but it didn't work. First I couldn't log back in without resetting the cookies on my browser then when I did login I was logged out whenever I re-visited the URL and this time it doesn't work with or without the www or clicking on forum. Is this a known problem with simple portal maybe?
