Proxy to access Hotmail (yahoo etc)

In college they've really clamped down on everthing and are trying to control everything the students do. So they've blocked out hotmail and other common email hosts.

Does anyone know of a proxy that supports SSL so that I could log into hotmail? It's a right ****** not being able to do so. We've tried a number of things but can't seem to find a way around wit without using a proxy....  :-\

I know this prolly sounds a bit silly, but have you tried Outlook Express?

I used to have one bookmarked, I'll see if I can find it...

machines dont have outlook express on them. And installing is prevented without admin rights (which I've sort of come around a way to get it, just haven't tried it out yet. Thunderbird would work if it supported HTTP...

something like that... what we used at our school... our techs block every effort... so far we've found a way around every tme (including bouncing requests of home computers)
*edit* sorry, note you have to install that.... but its likely smaller than outlook...
We had laptops at our school, so had access to any software we could bring... but they blocked most ports and many ips
